Eye Exam Team

As a Doctor of Optometry, part of my commitment to my patients is ongoing professional education.  As technology and the world around us changes, I have to keep up-to-date, because I have to provide the best care possible for your eyes.  At the same time, I enjoy entertaining people and want you to have a fun experience when you come to my office.  In addition, I genuinely care about my patients, and their satisfaction in my care and products is of utmost importance.

I am a 1999 Cum Laude graduate of Southern College of Optometry and a 1995 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  Along with practicing, I am an active member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.  I am also an active member of Southwood Lutheran Church.  In the spring of 2009 I organized eye care services at Clinic With A Heart.  I am the Vision Director, and a regular volunteer at the clinic.  I especially enjoy spending time with my family.  My wife, Shana, is the senior attorney for the Nebraska Public Service Comission.  She enjoys her work and family, and if any free time is left, reading.  We have two precious daughters.  Isabel is 8 years old, enjoys art, piano, movie, and tether ball, and is a third grader at Maxey.  Madelyn is 4 years old and enjoys movies, playing with squinkies and barbies, and will be starting kindergarden in the fall.  Our newest addition is our puppy, Mazey.  She is a black Giant Schnauzer with endless energy and a very playful clown.  In addition to my family, I enjoy activities like tennis, golf, fitness, movies, football, and following the University of Nebraska athletics.

Hello, I am Tammie, and I have been an optician for the past 20 years.  I am very friendly and enjoy getting to know all of our patients. I will make sure your over-all experience at our office is relaxing and enjoyable.  I will personally see that we are taking care of all of your eyecare needs.

Hi! My name is Jackie.  I am the newest member of the eye care team at Signature Eye Care. I have several years of experience working as an optician. I especially enjoy getting to know our patients and ensuring that all of your eye care needs met. I enjoy working with people and would love to guide you through your frame selection process. I will ensure the eyewear you select makes you look and feel great!
